She officially debuted on September 13, 2020, as part of hololive English’s first generation, rapidly rising to global fame and becoming a cultural phenomenon within the VTubing world.

Standing at 141 cm (4’7½”) and celebrating her birthday on June 20, Gura was supported by her massive and devoted fanbase known as the Chumbuds. Her personality was often described as a funny, lovable, and foolish “dummy,” a self-aware charm that made her instantly approachable and endlessly entertaining to fans of all backgrounds.

Despite her goofy demeanor, Gawr Gura was known for her exceptionally strong rhythm game skills, frequently surprising viewers with her precision and timing. This contrast between her playful personality and genuine gaming talent became one of her most endearing traits.
